As someone who has always suffered quite uncomfortable painful periods; experiencing severe lower back pain, mood swings, bloating and cramping a few days before my period, I sought out ways to be more comfortable.

I have found Menstrual Massages to really help mitigate these symptoms, alongside this I would also advise a good nutritious diet (avoiding greasy foods & alcohol) plenty of water, herbal drinks and light exercise.

What to expect

I like to use a blend of soothing oils depending on your needs, one of my favorites is Rose Geranium massage oil as not only does it have a beautiful scent but is also an anti-inflammatory offering pain relief, soothing anxiety and promoting relaxation. During the massage I like to offer a herbal heat pack to soothe the abdomen or lower back areas whilst I massage elsewhere which helps reduce cramps, a lot of my clients love this as it is so comforting.

When Should you have a Menstrual Massage?

I would suggest looking at your cycle and booking 2 - 5 days before your period, I understand that not everyone has a regular cycle, in that case once you have filled out a consultation form we can discuss more and book you in an appropriate time.
